About the Opportunity

With our new podcast, we aim to provide genuine interest and value to families with autistic children. Our goal is to foster real improvements in their relationships with their children, thus positively impacting the children's lives.

What difference will you make?

Our podcast will raise awareness of Autism and inspire with stories of success from people who have lived experience, as they share their learning and experience with parents and families. It will also support our fund raising efforts.

About You

  • Experience and confidence in leading a podcast team (or similar team with comparable goals).
  • Experience of podcasts - including development, branding, delivery and promotion.
  • Proven experience of responsibility for ensuring a smooth flow of communication within a team.
  • Excellent at communicating and building relationships (within the team and with guests).
  • Natural ability to be extremely organised, and experience in supporting others to maintain an organised approach.
  • You will be independent and proactive in managing your role (important).
  • You will operate fully in line with Transforming Autism’s values (see below).

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the podcast team is co-ordinated and working together effectively.
  • Ensuring a productive flow of communication within the podcast team.
  • Design and ensure the use within the team of appropriate tracking documentation so that we all know where we are with any task or goal at any time.
  • Communicate with guests regards to timings and dates and brief them in advance of the Podcast.
  • Scheduling the Podcast with the presenter and guests to suit diaries.
  • Support our Video Editor on the final cut and share this with guests.
  • Manage listener/viewer comments and questions.
