About the Opportunity
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Wessex Cancer Alliance Service Improvement Team as Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Be the key data contact for the Service Improvement Team
- Responsible for analysis & interpretation of local, regional, and national data
- Collate data and information
- Lead the review of cancer tumour sites across Wessex
- Shape, implement, and evaluate new pathways
- Produce recommendations for service & pathway improvement
- Drive actions forward to delivery and evaluation
About You

Eligibility
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience:
Essential criteria:
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Detailed knowledge and application of a recognised service improvement technique or relevant experience to Masters level or equivalent
- Proven track record in project management experience
- Facilitation of multi-professional groups
- Presenting and communicating to large groups
- Evidence of leading and implementing change, influencing behaviour, collaborative working with others
- Report writing skills and experience
- A self-starter, able to work with minimal direction
- Well-developed influencing skills, able to motivate and empower others
- Ability to lead project teams to effect change in rapidly changing environments, to achieve agreed goals
- Developed communication, influencing, negotiating, and diplomacy skills
- Knowledge and application of quality improvement and service redesign tools and techniques
Desirable criteria:
- QSIR college associate
- Project or change management training
- Action learning set facilitator
- Coaching qualification and or relevant experience
- Working knowledge of more than one methodology
