Certification Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage certification and product approval projects from enquiry through to completion.
  • Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Review technical documentation and support the assessment of products against relevant certification requirements.
  • Prepare project quotations, schedules, and approval documentation.
  • Coordinate testing activities with internal laboratories and technical teams.
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Review test reports and ensure certification files are accurate and complete.
  • Support customers in understanding and achieving compliance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with approval bodies, accreditation organisations, and internal colleagues to resolve issues and keep projects on track.

About You

We're looking for someone who can combine excellent project management skills with a strong customer focus and an interest in working within a technical and regulated environment.

You Will Ideally Have:

  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong customer-facing experience and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Confidence reviewing detailed technical or compliance-related documentation.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Eligibility

Experience within certification, testing, compliance, quality assurance, engineering, or a similar technical environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of product certification schemes, fire safety products, or regulated industries would be beneficial but is not essential.

Work Location Options

This role offers a mix of home and office working. You will need to be within commuting distance of our Watford or Glasgow office.

Recruitment Process
