About the Opportunity
The Construction Team is responsible for the management of the design and installation of the civil engineering and construction aspects of projects, providing technical support to the Development team and wider Group.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring civil engineering design progress for each location
- Planning and coordinating construction contractors
- Drafting relevant contract terms
- Ensuring program timelines and budgets are maintained
- Conducting feasibility studies
- Supporting in-house technical and Development teams
- Supporting planning and operations teams
- Preparation of specification documentation
- Contract administration and review
- Chairing project stakeholder meetings
- Managing client's duties
About You
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Higher education qualification in relevant engineering discipline
- Chartered engineer status or working towards it
- Project management skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Construction experience and knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety practices
- Full UK driving license
