Project Director – MEP Data Centres | East London

About the Opportunity

Salter Grange has been exclusively retained to appoint an experienced MEP Project Director to lead the delivery of a flagship £135m hyperscale data centre in East London. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the complete MEP package on one of the UK's most significant mission-critical projects, delivered through a joint venture between two leading Tier 1 contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a £135m MEP package on a hyperscale data centre.
• Manage Mechanical & Electrical delivery from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Drive programme, commercial performance, and quality.
• Manage client relationships and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee commissioning strategy and integrated systems testing.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and technical excellence.

About You

Proven experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or MEP Project Director. Successful delivery of hyperscale, enterprise, or mission-critical data centre projects. Background with leading MEP contractors or Tier 1 contractors. Strong knowledge of commissioning and Mechanical & Electrical systems. Excellent leadership, commercial, and client-facing skills. Track record of delivering complex projects safely, on program, and within budget.
