Portfolio Manager – Managed Portfolio Service (MPS)

About the Opportunity

Up to £80,000 plus EXCELLENT bonus and benefits. Hybrid working available! A leading UK wealth management firm is seeking a Portfolio Director to join its Managed Portfolio service team in Liverpool.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement investment strategies aligned to each model’s risk profile
• Keep investment process records in good order
• Monitor and manage investment risk
• Ensure model changes are implemented promptly
• Follow markets, economic trends, and geopolitical developments
• Give advisers clear portfolio updates
• Write market outlooks and thought-leadership pieces
• Capture adviser and market feedback
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues

About You

Significant experience managing portfolios at scale and complexity within a model portfolio (MPS) environment. A Level 7 qualification - Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) or CFA. Strong track record in client service and use of industry systems such as FactSet or Morningstar Direct and FE Analytics.

Eligibility

A sound working knowledge of client administration, regulatory compliance, and investment risk procedures.
