About The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of engineering and consultancy projects, typically up to £2M in value. You will manage project scope, programme, risks, resources, information flow and financial performance whilst supporting client satisfaction and technical excellence. Working under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and / or Project Principal, you will coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and ensure delivery is aligned with contractual requirements, project objectives and HDR quality management processes.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of projects, typically up to £2M in value.
Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules and resource plans.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to achieve project objectives.
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions where required.

Skills And Requirements

Strong organisation, communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills.
Able to co-ordinate across disciplines and manage competing priorities in a delivery environment.
Competent in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint; MS Project desirable.
Positive, professional attitude with a collaborative working style.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. 7 years related experience; minimum 2 years project management experience. Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards CEng. Commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
