Investment Consultant / Portfolio Manager – Multi-Asset

We are a fast-growing, founder-led boutique Investment Manager operating at the forefront of the rapidly expanding managed account space (SMAs & MDAs). We partner with leading financial advice businesses across Australia to deliver high-performing, tailored multi-asset portfolio solutions. Due to strong, sustained growth, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Asset Investment Consultant or Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact, hybrid role combining investment strategy with client-facing engagement. Working directly alongside our investment team, you will help build and manage our suite of managed portfolios while serving as a key investment contact for our financial adviser clients. Day-to-day, you will undertake:

• Portfolio Management & Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative fund research across major asset classes and contribute to asset allocation decisions.
• Client Engagement: Direct engagement with financial advisers, including representing the firm on client Investment Committees.
• Communications: Prepare high-quality portfolio reports, market commentary, and client communications.

What We’re Looking For

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience (10+ preferred) in multi-asset investment consulting, fund research, or portfolio management.
• Deep knowledge of - and established relationships within - the Australian funds management landscape.
• Strong qualitative & quantitative fund research capabilities across major asset classes.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills (comfortable presenting to groups, including Investment Committees).
• High energy, self-motivated, and driven by client success.

Nice-to-Haves:

• CFA Charterholder or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA).
• Background in institutional investment management.
• Solid understanding of the Australian financial planning ecosystem.
