Review Bank Loans. Critique and evaluate loans for deterioration in credit quality. Scrutinize individual loan files for compliance with Bank policy, federal regulations, completeness and accuracy of loan documents, financial strength of borrower, strength of collateral position, and accuracy in risk grading. Identify weaknesses in credits for potential problems and/or losses and recommend corrective actions.
Research economic information and monitor economic trends in major industries affecting the loan portfolio. Analyze borrower's financial position, spread financial statements, and prepare written summaries for use by Loan Officers. Conduct full loan analysis, including industry and local economic trends and risks of selected borrowers.
Prepare various management reports, conduct annual evaluations of large credits, and perform examinations of individual loan officer and branch loan portfolios. Attendance is an essential function of the job.
