As a Digital Portfolio Manager, you will help to ensure our technology projects deliver real value and align with our digital strategy. The evolution of the digital offering and the banking app are a key strategic focus for BUK with an exciting transformation agenda planned for 2026 and the next three years.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with business and technology lab teams to ensure roadmaps deliver strategic objectives (OKRs)
  • Reporting to senior leadership, helping with business cases, managing stakeholders, overseeing funding process, tracking progress, and ensuring projects align with regulatory and compliance requirements

About You

To be successful as a Digital Portfolio Manager, you should have experience with:

  • Managing a portfolio of technology change delivery work or a transformation programme
  • Financial management such as forecasting, budgeting, tracking costs and benefits
  • Bidding for funding and developing business cases
  • Analytical background and experience in reporting, with strong Excel skills
  • Managing and influencing stakeholders
  • Change delivery frameworks

Eligibility

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include:

  • Knowledge of using JIRA and Confluence
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, Consumer Duty, and data compliance requirements)
