About the Opportunity

Artha Bharat Investment Managers ME Limited, a Category 3C Investment Manager regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in ADGM, is seeking an experienced Fund Manager – Fixed Income to join our growing investment team in Abu Dhabi. As part of the Artha Bharat Group - with an established platform spanning GIFT City IFSC, Mauritius, and ADGM - this is an opportunity to build and manage a fixed income mandate within an institutionally-backed, multi-jurisdictional asset management group. The company has received In-Principle Approval from the regulator and is in the process of completing all the requirements for the issuance of FSP.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow fixed income fund strategies in line with FSRA regulatory requirements and internal investment guidelines
  • Conduct credit analysis, interest rate research, and macro assessment to drive portfolio construction and security selection
  • Monitor portfolio risk, duration, credit exposure, and liquidity within mandate limits
  • Collaborate with the Group Investment Committee on strategy and asset allocation decisions
  • Liaise with custodians, prime brokers, and counterparties on trade execution and settlement
  • Prepare investor reporting, performance commentary, and portfolio updates
  • Work with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure ongoing regulatory and mandate compliance
  • Support due diligence and onboarding for new fixed income strategies/mandates

About You

7-10 years of experience in fixed income fund/portfolio management, preferably within a regulated asset management or investment management firm. Strong track record in sovereign, corporate, and/or emerging market debt instruments. Sound understanding of fixed income risk management, duration/credit analysis, and macroeconomic drivers. Experience working within a regulated environment (FSRA, DFSA, SEC, SEBI, MAS, or equivalent) preferred. Relevant professional qualification (CFA, FRM, or equivalent) is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
