About the Opportunity

Project Coordinator – Technology Projects

Location: Melbourne

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Our client, a fast-growing consultancy, is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multiple concurrent customer technology projects. Working alongside Project Managers, technical delivery teams, and customer stakeholders, you will keep projects organized, informed, and progressing through effective planning, governance, reporting, and action tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities across multiple concurrent customer projects.
  • Support selected small engagements or discrete project workstreams.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops, governance forums, resources, and delivery activities.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, meeting records, and decision logs.
  • Prepare accurate status reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.
  • Maintain RAID registers and proactively follow up actions, owners, and due dates.
  • Identify and escalate emerging scope, schedule, delivery, commercial, or stakeholder concerns.
  • Support project mobilization, delivery, closure, and lessons-learned activities.
  • Assist with forecasting, effort tracking, invoicing, purchase orders, and project financial administration.
  • Monitor timesheet compliance and resolve or escalate inconsistencies.
  • Build positive relationships across customers, Project Managers, and technical teams.
  • Contribute to improving project templates, controls, and ways of working.

About You

Experience:

  • At least two years’ experience in a dedicated Project Coordinator role.
  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Practical experience across the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, RAID management, action tracking, and closure.
  • Experience supporting technology and/or business-transformation projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, including schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or a similar project or work-management platform.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery approaches, including Agile ceremonies.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills and clear written and verbal communication.
