About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Assistant Technical Project Coordinator (Intern) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects by assisting project managers and technical teams. This role is designed for students or recent graduates seeking hands-on exposure to project coordination, technical environments, and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will help track project progress, maintain documentation, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating daily project activities and schedules.
- Support project timelines by tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Help follow up on action items with technical and non-technical team members.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation (project plans, meeting minutes, technical reports).
- Support version control and organization of technical documents.
- Help gather technical requirements and clarify basic specifications with guidance.
- Participate in project meetings and record meeting notes.
- Prepare basic status reports and dashboards for project updates.
- Communicate project-related information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to update tasks and status.
- Assist in maintaining tracking spreadsheets, risk logs, and issue registers.
- Support data entry and accuracy in project systems.
- Assist with risk and issue identification and escalation.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams as needed.
- Perform other project-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Engineering, Information Technology / Computer Science, Project Management, Business, or a related technical field.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of project management concepts.
- Interest in technical projects or IT environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
