Legal Project Manager

About the Opportunity

The Thomson Reuters Foundation is recruiting a dynamic Legal Project Manager to drive and deliver the legal and programmatic activities for key donor-funded projects and serve as the point person and lead for the Access to Law team on these projects.

You will report to the Head of Special Projects, and work closely with regional TrustLaw team members. This position is based in our London office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the delivery of the legal activities on donor-funded projects
• Set project plans for delivery of legal activities
• Ensure work is done on time, within budget, and to high quality
• Report on progress internally and externally, including to donors
• Collaborate with project team members across TRF
• Lead key activities and work products
• Conduct outreach to stakeholders
• Update record-keeping systems
• Support other projects and tasks

About You

To be a Legal Editor within the Thomson Reuters Foundation, you will likely have:

• Be an experienced lawyer (5+ years) with strong legal skills
• Experience with pro bono, international development, or social change
• Fluency in English
• Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Experience managing the delivery of legal programming
• Strong team player with organizational abilities
• Experience delivering trainings, workshops, and events on legal topics
• Willingness to travel internationally

Eligibility

This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years based in London, starting as soon as possible. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
