About the Opportunity

Capspace Investments (Capspace) is a private debt fund that provides credit to Small, Medium & Emerging Businesses (SMEs). We support fast-growing companies through a seamless, client-focused business model. Our goal is to become Australia's preferred and most trusted private lender to SMEs, expanding our market share from both bank and non-bank sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Developing an understanding of the existing portfolio and resolving any potential issues with positions or clients.
  • Managing all portfolio changes, including interest rate adjustments, repayments, and missed payments, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborating with the borrower origination team on new clients and transactions to maintain high standards as the portfolio grows.
  • Identifying process improvements and opportunities to enhance customer experience and returns.

About You

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in credit management.
  • Knowledge of the Australian alternative investment market (preferably RG146 compliant).
  • Knowledge of private credit is beneficial.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in relationship management, credit, and credit analysis in financial services.
  • Experience in non-bank lending is beneficial, with a deep understanding of credit and settlement processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience in presenting data analysis to management.

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree is advantageous.
  • Postgraduate qualifications are valuable.
