Midweight Creative Project Manager [211200]

Job Description

About the Opportunity

Midweight Creative Project Manager

Location: Farringdon (1-2 days onsite per week)

Compensation: Up to £260 per day (Inside IR35 – Ltd Only)

Contract Length: 6 Months (ASAP Start)

Stop letting chaotic workflows derail great design. We are looking for two Midweight Creative Project Managers to step in and act as the ultimate “front door” to the internal creative studio of a world-leading global corporate travel and event management enterprise.

If you thrive on turning ambiguous requests into structured execution, managing shifting corporate priorities, and fiercely protecting the focus time of creative talent, this role was built for you.

What’s in it for you?

  • High Impact: You will fundamentally transform how an enterprise-level internal studio functions, seeing the direct result of your structure within 90 days.
  • Premium Brand Exposure: Add a globally recognised tier-1 corporate enterprise to your portfolio.
  • Supportive Leadership: Run the day-to-day workflow with the backing of Studio Leads who will handle heavy-duty escalation for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the Intake Gate: Reviewing incoming marketing requests and interrogating vague briefs until they contain clear objectives, deliverables, and success metrics before they ever reach a designer.
  • Triage & Capacity Mapping: Sequencing work based on effort and urgency, shutting down ad-hoc “side-channel” direct messages and favours to prevent context-switching.
  • Managing Stakeholder Expectations: Serving as the direct link to internal marketing teams, delivering realistic timelines, and consolidating scattered feedback loops into single, clear action items.
  • Running the Studio System: Leading daily or bi-weekly studio stand-ups and keeping project management software perfectly updated to reflect live capacity.

What You’ll Bring

Midweight experience in project coordination, traffic management, resource management, or creative operations within an agency or fast-paced in-house corporate studio.

High Creative Literacy: You understand the design process well enough to instantly spot when a brief is unworkable or missing structural details.

Tool Fluency: Practical, day-to-day experience managing workflows via tools like Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, or Workfront.

Diplomatic Backbone: The confidence to ask probing questions to senior stakeholders and comfortably communicate a diplomatic “not yet.”

About the Company

Our client provides end-to-end corporate travel management. From online booking and savings tools to event planning and spend management.

Note: This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
