Where You'll be Working

Population & Planetary Health, located at Royal North Shore Hospital Community Health Centre

Responsibilities

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating the Physical Activity Referral Scheme (PARS)
  • Developing referral pathways for physical activity options
  • Fostering relationships with stakeholders
  • Embedding PARS into clinical workflows

Eligibility

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in health promotion, public health, education, community development, health sciences, sociology or other related discipline.
  • Proven project management capabilities including planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives at a population level.
  • Experience in advocacy and influencing change, particularly in relation to population health issues, behaviour change and policy development.
