About the Opportunity
The Assertive Community Engagement & Success (ACES) program is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the expansion of the program to Brooklyn and Queens. This full-time position involves in-person and in-community work primarily, with an anticipated tenure of 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage expansion plans or new service areas
- Create project timelines, work plans, and implementation schedules
- Participate in site selection process and launch activities
- Serve as a cross-departmental liaison with internal teams
- Coordinate phases of program expansion including community assessments, stakeholder engagement, staffing, and service delivery
- Represent the organization at community events or coalition meetings
- Promote culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices
- Support development and standardization of operating procedures
- Oversee day-to-day coordination of new site launches and program implementation
- Participate in program expansion meetings
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, site visits, and community events
About You
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, project management, criminal justice, or related field with at least three (3) years of related work experience. Advanced proficiency in project management tools, excellent critical-thinking, decision-making, and leadership capabilities. Experience working with diverse communities and organizations. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Preferably a post-bachelor’s certificate in project management related skills.
