About the Opportunity

The Project Coordinator role sits within a small and dynamic Projects Team that supports the delivery of high-quality improvement initiatives at Medical Panels. Reporting to the Projects Officer, this role will undertake a wide range of project coordination tasks with an emphasis on the collation, analysis, and recording of data to support the Projects Team in the delivery of key outcomes in a complex and fast-paced tribunal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise the Projects Officer on matters requiring attention and then implement the decisions.
  • Assist with research and benchmarking to inform program and project planning and implementation.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of projects.
  • Contribute to the development of new administration, management, and reporting processes, as required.
  • Manage project administration tasks, including the maintenance of shared folders, calendars, email accounts, templates, and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare project presentations, reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Provide administrative support and project coordination, including planning, organizing, monitoring, coordinating, tracking, and evaluating initiatives and outcomes.
  • Provide proactive advice on project risks and outcomes.

About You

As an experienced Project Coordinator, you bring exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes within tight timeframes. You are a highly analytical professional with advanced capabilities in data analysis, Excel, and Power BI. You are a confident communicator who builds rapport quickly and fosters productive, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Eligibility

Eligibility for ongoing employment with WorkSafe Victoria requires Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
