Project Coordinator – Electric Vehicle Infrastructure

About the Opportunity

Do you want to play a key role in delivering electric vehicle infrastructure that supports communities across East Sussex? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape a more sustainable, accessible transport network for residents, businesses, and visitors.

You’ll join a team managing a recently awarded contract to introduce on-street electric vehicle chargepoint infrastructure across East Sussex that will support sustainable economic growth in the county, reductions in carbon emissions, and the wider objectives of the East Sussex Local Transport Plan 4. Working with the chargepoint operator, the role will help co-ordinate the Council’s delivery on electric vehicle chargepoints for residents without off-street parking and enabling opportunities for en route charging. You’ll also contribute to developing new policies and managing grant funding programmes for residents to introduce cross-pavement solutions to support safe and equitable access to home charging.

  • Have communication skills with a range of stakeholders
  • Can support project delivery and policy development
