Job Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Prepare & submit capital expenditure requests (CER) for capital projects.
  • Procurement activities including sourcing (specs & quotes) & raising purchase orders in conjunction with Procurement team where necessary.
  • Manage delivery of capital projects from initiation to completion.
  • Monitor, track & report on project budgets & expenditure.
  • Site standard compliance of new assets purchased through CAPEX including statutory & engineering specifications.
  • Ensure all documentation, training, critical spares & maintenance strategies are in place prior to asset handover.
  • Assists with controlling costs through the efficient use of materials and equipment for tasks under control.
  • Ensures work is performed in a safe and cost-effective manner and that waste is minimized.
  • Proactively prepares for shifts on projects.

Skills And Experience

Tertiary qualification Trade/Engineering/Asset Management.
Previous experience in Project Coordination and procurement coordination.
Understanding of asset lifecycle and operational readiness requirements.
Proficient in using Microsoft Suite products, including Project and Excel.
Strong organizational skills.
Basic SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
