Project Director

Job Description

About the Opportunity

BBH London has an exciting opportunity for a meticulously organised, collaborative, and passionate Project Director to join the agency on a 12-month contract.

As Project Director, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of campaigns across two key accounts, ensuring projects are resourced, managed, and delivered correctly with a focus on timing, quality, and budget.

Internally, you’ll act as a bridge between agency departments, ensuring that operations are running smoothly, agency processes are adhered to, and the account is running at a profitable state with maximum client satisfaction. You’ll provide expert guidance, cast the right agency talent for the tasks at hand, and identify and mitigate risks across campaigns.

Externally, you’ll collaborate with other client or Publicis agencies to ensure workstreams are integrated and key information is shared at the right time. Monzo is a Publicis Group account, and therefore you’ll play a vital role in ensuring work and correspondents are representative of the Publicis group and not just BBH.

Financially, you’ll be responsible for inputting into scopes of works, managing and reporting the accounts financial health internally and externally on a monthly basis. You’ll oversee agency billability, contribute to forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities.

The right candidate will have 8+ years of experience, with at least 2 at the same or similar level, working within a large agency. This is a client-facing role, with trust and collaboration at its core. It requires a people-focused person, with the ability to lead and motivate, to bring together cross-capability teams to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. Someone who is highly organised, and tenacious with exceptional attention to detail. The ability to work well under pressure, whilst remaining objective and retaining a positive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure detailed project documentation, implementation, and action plans are created for all new projects (or support the Account Management team to create and manage these).
  • Maintain a holistic view of ongoing and incoming workstreams across the account, ensuring relevant teams are kept abreast of key updates, risks, and successes.
  • Oversee all scopes of work, budgets, and project timelines for new projects.
  • Build all scope on BBH Pro and monitor on a weekly basis to identify and mitigate financial risks to projects.
  • Develop strong relationships with key client stakeholders, lead client calls and meetings as necessary to discuss process, project progress, and upcoming work.
  • Work closely with other network agencies to develop joint timing plans, processes, and share key information across workstreams.

About Company

Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) is a world-famous creative agency that makes jaw-dropping, thumb-stopping, eye-opening work for brands across the globe. Founded in London in 1982, we now have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Mumbai, Singapore, and Shanghai. Our first ad for Levi’s showed a black sheep travelling in the opposite direction to a flock of white ones. That’s where we got our logo and our guiding philosophy: when the world zigs, zag. Why? Because it’s easy to zig, to go with the grain. It feels safe. It feels like the sensible thing to do. But the greater risk is failing to stand out. We believe in the power of difference to make a difference.

Our goal is a simple one: make the best work in the world. That’s where you come in. We need rebels, dreamers, thinkers, mathematicians, makers, artists, visionaries, doers, observers, the different and the unreasonable. We need Black Sheep. People who want to make the hearts flutter and minds do flips, who can change businesses and culture. People who want to make a difference, come here for something different.
