Project Director

About the Opportunity

Project Director position available at Murphy to work with the Energy Team on the National Grid, ETP Framework.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe delivery of scope of works, on time and meeting quality standards
• Set overall standard on project/contract
• Build and develop operational and project management team
• Manage project managers and project team meetings
• Manage mobilisation process and handover
• Develop communication with clients and stakeholders
• Produce cost forecasts and oversee resource forecasts
• Support procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Lead improvement actions to achieve financial objectives

About You

Experience in delivering HV Transmission projects within 132kV to 400kV or major civil projects. Experience in a Project Director or Senior Managerial role. HNC/HND qualification. Strong commercial and contractual awareness. Experience in complex multi-discipline Enhancement projects. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
