SSG – Loan Portfolio Manager

About the Opportunity

Your role

We’re looking for someone like that who can:

• work with the Leveraged Capital Markets and Structured Solutions team to help manage the Australian loan portfolio;
• be across all aspects of the ongoing monitoring and administration of the loan portfolio, working closely with the front office Leveraged Capital Markets and Structured Solutions team, credit risk control and the loan operations team;
• prepare monthly and quarterly reports on the loan portfolio for senior management and credit risk officers;
• assist the team with preparation of credit submissions, conducting due diligence, reviewing ongoing financial reporting and analysing borrower requests; and
• have regular dialogue with borrowers to understand their business, financial reporting and monitor the loan’s performance.

About You

Your team

You’ll be working in the Leveraged Capital Markets and Structured Solutions team within the Global Banking division of the Investment Bank, based in Sydney.

Eligibility

Your expertise

You have:

• relevant experience gained from working in banking, accountancy, funds management, law, strategic consultancy or a similar financial services profession, with a track record of success;
• tertiary qualified; and
• solid credit analysis and organisational skills, with the ability to take ownership of the management of a loan portfolio

You are:

• interested in loan portfolio management;
• able to communicate clearly and work effectively with others, including credit risk officers and loan operations;
• a team player, understands the value of being part of a tight knit team and will contribute accordingly;
• someone who takes ownership and can work independently; and
• willing to learn about new sectors and debt structures
