Marcus Today, founded in 1998, is a stock market education and portfolio management company headquartered in Melbourne. The business comprises two segments - Marcus Today Membership for self-directed investors and the investment arm - Marcus Today Managed Portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the production of the Marcus Today newsletter
• Blend stock and ETF research with publication
• Manage portfolios
• Write stock-focused content
• Participate in investment decisions

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Understand the stock market and its drivers
• Have experience managing portfolios
• Have experience writing stock market content
• Be able to add value through ideas and analysis
• Have a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel

Eligibility

To be considered, you should have:

• A passionate interest in the stock market
• Experience in stock selection including fundamental, macro, and technical research
• Experience using financial analysis tools like Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, FactSet (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
